Once you've entered the details, you're all set!
For a step-by-step guide, please check out this article.
1. ETH (Base) and USDC
First, to trade on GFEX, you'll need ETH (Base), the Base network's native token, to cover gas fees on GFEX. Gas fees on the Base network are very low, typically costing around $0.01 per transaction. Next, acquire USDC on the Base network and store it together with your ETH in the same wallet. Once your wallet is loaded with both ETH and USDC, you're ready to start investing on GFEX.
2. Where to get USDC and ETH (Base)
You can acquire ETH (Base) and USDC from various exchanges like Coinbase, Bybit, Binance, OKX, Kraken, KuCoin and others. After purchasing the tokens, withdraw them to your Web3 wallet (Metamask) on the Base network. Once that's done, you're all set.
3. How to convert your assets from Ethereum or other chains to Base.
To convert ETH and USDC from the Ethereum chain (or other chains) to the Base chain, you have several convenient options:
ChangeNOW.io: This platform offers quick and easy exchanges of various cryptocurrencies, including ETH and USDC, across different networks.
Magic Eden Wallet: Provides a user-friendly mobile app for swapping ETH from Ethereum to Base with just a few taps.
Jumper.Exchange: Supports bridging both ETH and USDC between Ethereum and Base networks.
Defiway: Offers a cross-chain bridge for transferring ETH and USDC from Ethereum to Base.
RocketX Exchange: Allows for swapping and converting ETH using the Base blockchain.
Superbridge: An official bridge mentioned in the Base documentation for transferring ETH and other supported assets from Ethereum to Base.
These services provide simple and efficient ways to move your assets to the Base chain. When using any of these options, make sure to connect your wallet, select the appropriate networks and tokens, and carefully review the transaction details before confirming. It's always a good idea to start with a small amount to test the process before making larger transfers.
